For most MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-play game) old players, I think all of them had decided to try and play more of a support role when first heard mention of Warhammer Online. Player need to feeling and exploring Warhammer from kinds of factors, playing each support role is the one way. No matter what kinds of characters you are going to play, they need Warhammer gold to live, I mean is you need War gold to buy weapons, armors and other items in Warhammer Online. Some players like good guys and have high reputation, some likes cool role, just like the goblin Shaman and Chaos Zealot. In my opinion, evil is way cooler than being a good guy (its science people so please don’t fight me on this). Most players initially chose the Zealot for aesthetic reasons. The cool hood and raven feather shoulder pads just simply won us over.
So while the class isn’t perfect, it would be safe to say that this is where support, utility, and casting collide. To the DAOC players, I have to warn you that this is certainly not a class you have played before. You will have to focus on a single role at a time, but it’s the very diversity of the class that forces you to switch gears constantly. In Warhammer Online, Realm vs. Realm is more important than other MMO, you are able to enjoy War quests, raids and battle with your friends at the beginning. I like to explore War world with my best friends and share happy of getting large of Warhammer Online gold and War experience (War power leveling). And when I say “switching gears” I mean healing one moment, then 5 seconds later going on the offensive to melt some faces. This class is a relatively complex one, stressful at times, but the reward (War gold, items and equipments etc) can pay off if you pay attention.
Career Abilities of Zealot
There are too many abilities and names swimming in my head over the course of 20 classes and the 1 ½ years I’ve been in this thing. I’m only going to throw the names of skills that I remember. There are a lot of abilities. Like, a lot. For newbie, I have a notice that you’d better to collect more War money, or you have to buy War gold from others. Because of the many abilities to learn would take much Warhammer gold from your bags. You are going to be impressed by all the things this class can do….. The rest of this will be/should be familiar concepts. OK! Let’s go to the major part of this article—Abilities of Zealot!
Direct Damage (DD)
The Zealot starts off with “Scourge” a Direct Damage (DD) bolt style spell that fires a stream of shadows at the opponent at a reasonable distance. The damage in comparison to other range melee characters is mid to low. Since we aren’t officially casters we don’t get to become glass cannons, sorry guys. At the end of the day we are technically healers…. but I still found that this spell was useful because A. it does damage B. it’s a good way to dish out damage AND stay out of the fight, and C. it builds morale without being involved up front. (Much more on that later). If you are going to smash one button, it would probably be this one. Also there is a follow up skill to Scourge that works just like it, does the same amount of damage and is insta-cast. However, it’s on a timer, but the plus side to this is that it’s a great attack paired with the insta-cast DoT’s when you are chasing down another player on the run.
A variation of this was a weak tentacle lashing DD that came out of the ground. What I found very important about this attack was that it was able to silence any casting for (I believe…) 2 seconds. A great way to shut down any support and casting in the area.
The next time, we will introduce the next part of Zealot’s abilities. If you like the War information of our site, please pay more attention to Wargoldsale. We guarantee to give more useful guide of War, such as War gold guide, War power leveling guide to our players for free.
